You know you want nothing but the best for them in their time of need and just because they are sick, it doesn’t mean that you have to pick up the first thing on the shelf.

Right now I have two sick kids with a cold….so that means lots of coughing, sniffling, stuffy noses. Last night me and my husband were at the drug store and were amazed at the different over the counter children’s medicines that are on the market. What caught my attention was all the different flavors: Bubblegum, Grape, Cherry, Orange, Rainbow? What do all these medicines have in common? DYES! I was totally shocked at the amount of dyes that are included in medicines…..and what for? only to make it appealing to kids? I don’t know about you, but when my kids are sick they just want to feel better and fast!

So after about 15 minutes of searching for a dye free alternative, we came across the Boiron Chestal Homeopathic brand. What a delight it was to see that it was not only dye free, but all natural too! We ended up getting the honey flavor since our kids love honey and has no medicine-like taste to it.

Once we gave it to the kids, we started seeing (and hearing) results within the first hour! There was no pinching of noses or zippered lips as we put the medicine on the spoons. My son usually balks at taking any type of medicine, but once I gave him a tiny sip of it he was like “Wow! This tastes just like honey!“. (The great thing about this brand is that is actually does work and very quickly I might add!)

This product does contain sucrose so it does contain sugar components.
